A SMALL GUIDE TO BIG PROGRESS

Analog and digital clock matching worksheets

These analog and digital clock matching worksheets bridge two representations of time. A lettered bank keeps answers easy to mark. The question set contains distinct times and each bank entry is used once.

  1. Read the hour hand, then count minutes.
  2. Find the matching digital time in the bank.
  3. Write its letter below the clock and explain the match aloud.

To remove the bank for a stronger recall task, use the telling time worksheet generator.

A few useful answers

Will answers print with the worksheet?

No. Student and teacher PDFs are separate downloads. Print worksheet always prints student pages, even when you are previewing answers.

How do I recreate a worksheet?

Save the seed, tool, count, time step, paper size, and number-line setting. Those settings reproduce the same version 1 set. Preferences are saved only in this browser.

Can a clock face tell am from pm?

No. Read, draw, and match use 12-hour faces without am/pm. Elapsed-time questions state am/pm and the day. 12 am is midnight; 12 pm is noon.

How should I print it?

Use the PDF with matching A4 or Letter paper, portrait orientation, and actual size (100%). For browser printing, disable browser headers and footers. Read the printing guide.
